The U2912HM has an IPS panel, but its a 1080p monitor, and it costs more than its price tag would suggest, which isn’t surprising.
That said, it’s one of the cheapest ultrawides out there and the Acer has a ton of options to choose from.
If you’re looking for an ultrawiding monitor, look no further than the Acer 2912HM.
Acer’s U2915HM is an ultiwide 1440 monitor that is also a great deal, and the 2912 HM is also available with 4K and 4K HDR support.
These are the ultrawids that we know you’re going to want to try out, and we think that you’ll find them to be a worthy buy for the price.
If you’re shopping for a 1440p ultrawidden monitor, you’ll want to consider whether it’s worth upgrading from your current 1080p ultiwids, as they’re not nearly as good.
We recommend using your existing 1440p display when purchasing an ultawid monitor.
It’s much better for your eyes and it’s going to be far more comfortable to use than a 1080.
For the best experience with your new monitor, check out our review of the Dell XPS 15 13″ UltraWide.
You can also consider picking up an inexpensive 1440p screen to replace your 1080p display, but it’s unlikely to be worth the extra cost, especially if you’re just looking for a cheaper option.
For this reason, we recommend picking up a 1440 or 1440p panel from a brand that is known for its 1440p displays.
If a 1080 or 1440 ultrawided monitor isn’t the best option for you, you might be better off looking for something a bit more affordable.
Acer offers the U2914HM, the Acer UA2815HM, and Acer UA2913Hm.
The UA2817HM is a 1440 monitor, but this is a slightly smaller one than the U2815Hm, and both have 4K support.
You’ll find these monitors in a wide variety of configurations, so there’s no reason to look for one specific model when you can look for multiple models.
The only other thing to look out for is the U3022HM, as it’s a cheaper ultrawider that has an integrated GPU and has a similar color palette to the UA2818HM.
The UL3130Hm has a 4K panel, so it’s the only monitor we recommend purchasing if you want the best value ultrawiddirection monitor on a budget.
If we had to pick one ultrawidth monitor to compare with the U2715HM and U2917HM, we’d probably choose the UA2915HM.
This monitor has a 1440 display, a 4k panel, a USB Type-C port, and is only $180.
This is one of Acer’s better ultrawiders, so you’ll likely see it in many of the same configurations as the U2112HM and UA2813HM, but you’ll also get a bit better value from this model.
The screen is also quite bright, which means it’ll be much more comfortable for gaming.
Acer also offers the UA3022HM for $220, but that model is a bit larger and has an additional USB Type C port, so we’d definitely recommend going for the UA2722HM instead.
If this is the monitor you’re after, you can also check out the Acer C2815HS for $280.
The best ultwid 1440p monitors come in several different configurations, including an ultrawide (1920×1080), ultrawide-16:10 (1920 x 1080), ultra wide-16-18 (1920 X 1080), and ultrawide 16:9 (1280×1024).
If you want to get the most out of your 1440p or 4K ultrawrid monitor, these are the best choices.
