In a report published on Wednesday, TechCrunch said the Apple TV’s remote doesn’t work as well as expected with Samsung’s TV, while The Verge said the Roku 4 remote doesn´t work with the Amazon Fire TV.

However, the report also said the TV remote is “not as good” as the Roku 3 remote and that the Amazon Echo and Google Home devices are also working well with Apple TVs.

While we weren’t able to test all of the Apple TVs, Techcrunch said it has tested two models, the TVS8 and TVS9.

Both TVs are able to connect to a standard USB 3.0 port and use a single HDMI cable, though neither one can be used with the HDMI out port of the Amazon’s Echo and Apple’s HomePod.

The Roku 3 and Roku 4 are available in the US for $50 and $75, respectively, and they are currently in the Amazon store.
